This blog gives you a glimpse into the upcoming Sunday Gathering. It's an opportunity to read through the passage we'll be studying together, pray through some of the liturgy we'll be using, and listen to a selection of the songs we’ll be singing
MICAH 7
SERMON
This week we will be finishing our sermon series in the book of Micah and John McPhilimey will be preaching to us from Micah 7.
LITURGY
COMMITMENT READING
Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.
Once again you will have compassion on us. You will trample our sins under your feet and hurl them into the depths of the ocean! You will show us your faithfulness and unfailing love.
(based on Micah 7:18-19)
MUSIC
O God of Mercy Hear our Plea (Sovereign Grace): A song that sings of the brokenness of this world and the reality of sin we live in but the hope we can know of God’s faithfulness in the midst of this.
Nothing but the Blood: A hymn that reminds us of the cost of our salvation, that Jesus’ blood is the only thing that can cleanse us from our sin.
