CALL TO WORSHIP
People of God, worship the living God today! Remember that out of nothing God created the heavens and earth. Remember that God raised Jesus from the powerlessness of death to the power of his right hand.
We give you thanks, great God, for the hope we have in Jesus, who died but is risen and rules over all. Because he lives, we look for eternal life, knowing that nothing past, present, or yet to come can separate us from your great love made known in Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Behold your God, who reigns now and forever!

CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE
So often, we come together on a Sunday feeling weighed down by sin, reminded of our shortcomings before God. Every week at Redeemer we take time at this point in our gathering to confess our sin before God. When we're reminded of God's greatness and glory we're humbled to see our own sin and our need for God's grace. At the heart of the Gospel is repentance, so that's why we take a moment every week to repent together. Take a moment to confess to him now. God tells us in his word that since we have been raised with Christ, sin is no longer our master. Hear these words of assurance to us.
Because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

COMMUNION
Every week we want to respond to what God has done for us in Jesus. One of the great ways he has provided for us to remember the truth of the gospel is giving us communion. As we take the bread and wine we remember what Jesus has done for us.
POST COMMUNION READING
Jesus’ death brings us life and this meal reminds us that we are fed by Jesus and forgiven because of Jesus.
We rejoice that You have died, rose again, and are now with the Father advocating for us. Amen.
With our money, time, and talent we give generously, knowing that through Your Son, Jesus, You have generously given to us.
We rejoice that You have given everything and we joyfully give everything back to Your care. Amen.
