CALL TO WORSHIP
When the goodness and loving kindness of God our Saviour appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy.
He washed us by the regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
And so we have been justified by his grace so that we might become his heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE
Every week at Redeemer we take a moment to pause and reflect. It's a chance to confess to God, the sin we see in our own hearts every day. In the face of God's glory and greatness, we are humbled before him and God invites us to come to him with our weakness and failings. One way we can know the state of our hearts is through our words. How we use our words, reveals our heart and what we are treasuring. So often we use our words to hurt others rather than to build one another up. We gossip and slander others, instead of encouraging or rebuking one another in love. Let's take a moment now to reflect on that, to confess to God, in the quiet of our hearts, the ways our words are used for harm and not for good...
The truth of the gospel is we don't have to make ourselves right before we can come to God. Despite our failings and our sin, in Jesus we can know forgiveness. Let's read these words of assurance together now that speak of this:
God has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.

COMMUNION
Every week we want to respond to what God has done for us in Jesus. One of the great ways he has provided for us to remember the truth of the gospel is giving us communion. As we take the bread and wine we remember what Jesus has done for us.
POST COMMUNION READING
Jesus’ death brings us life and this meal reminds us that we are fed by Jesus and forgiven because of Jesus.
We rejoice that You have died, rose again, and are now with the Father advocating for us. Amen.
With our money, time, and talent we give generously, knowing that through Your Son, Jesus, You have generously given to us.
We rejoice that You have given everything and we joyfully give everything back to Your care. Amen.
